Dive into a Neapolitan Experience

Como Pizzeria covered by greenery is a treasure at 32nd Milestone, Gurgaon. It offers an experience most people are unaware of – authentic neapolitan joy.

A Neopolitan Pizza essentially means one which originates from Naples, Italy-the birthplace of pizza. The unique characteristic is that there are minimal toppings on these pizzas, with focus on the fresh tomato, cheese, fresh basil and the flavor of the flour. Also if you notice the pizza, the outer crust seems a bit brown but it has a lovely charcoal flavor. The beauty of this pizza is in this flavor. While Como Pizzeria allowed toppings in this Naples delicacy, it should have No toppings. But hey! I’m not complaining.

We had “The Farm” which had fresh mozzarella, black olives, caramelized onions and corns, garnished with basil and microgreens. YUM! The grainy crust was such a delight. This is definitely one of the best authentic pizzas I’ve ever had. Moreover, the owner of the cafe came over to our table and personally garnished fresh parmesan on top. OOF, my heart skipped a beat.

We had the Burrata and Cranberry salad. It had a sprinkle of red wine on top of the cheese, which went together so well. The creamy Burrata melts in your mouth with the aromatic taste of the wine: an absolute flavor bomb.

Next, We tried their Asparagus Risotto. I feel like Asparagus is an acquired taste. However, if you do like it, you would love this risotto. The flavor of asparagus is strong with small chunks of the veggie. Risotto is a Northern italy rice dish, and an easy recipe to make at home with starchy rice and cream/tomato sauce.

And the last dish for the day is the TIRAMISU! A core Italian dessert, Tiramisu is heaven for coffee and rum lovers. The mixture of sponge and the fluffy cream is mesmerizing. Frankly, Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts. And I was searching for the perfect tiramisu around Gurgaon and I found it at Como Pizzeria. Although their sponge was a wee dense, it was still much better than most of the tiramisu I’ve had in restaurants.

Wow! What a ride this restaurant was! Every dish is amazing, the service is great, the aesthetics are soothing, it’s perfect!

I highly recommend Como Pizzeria to get an authentic Italian experience.

The cost is around Rs. 1500 for two.

Enjoy my Beautifoooodies!
